About the Siblings

Meet Heaven, Soraya, Aleana and Isabelle. They are members of the Rosebud Sioux tribe. This all-girl sibling group cannot wait to meet their forever family!

Heaven, the oldest of the four, is a friendly leader who loves to be in charge. This playful gal's favorite pastime is learning about and being involved in her Native American culture. In first grade, this little one enjoys going to school, has been working hard to learn to read and write, and gets along well with her classmates. Heaven is happy playing outside at the park or inside a play area at McDonald's as a special treat.

Soraya, the second of the girls, adores spending time with her doll house or dressing up. This sweet and friendly lass is attending preschool and really enjoys it. Another fun activity Soraya favors is playing with her sisters. Like her older sister she is happy going to the park and to McDonalds.

Aleana, one of the twins, is full of energy and does her best when she keeps busy. She can’t wait to play dress-up, joyfully dance and run with her twin sister. Don’t let that worry you because she also loves to hang out. Quiet activities that this preschooler enjoys are crafts, stuffed animals, coloring in coloring books and watching a movie on television or a kids' television show with her sisters. This animated little one is always thrilled to play at the park or at an indoor play center at the local fast food place. Both of the twins really seem to thrive from one-on-one attention and social activities.

Isabelle, the other twin, loves to play, run and dance with her sisters. She is fond of filling coloring books with her artwork, as well as watching television and movies with her siblings. Playing at parks is her favorite thing to do; and when it comes to the type of park she does not discriminate, she likes outdoor parks just as much as indoor play areas. Her goal is to become a "puppy doctor" when she grows up, and she loves preschool.

The caseworker prefers a two-parent or single-female American Indian home; however, all family types will be considered. The girls need to maintain contact with their foster parent. We only accept inquiries on the entire sibling group, who will be placed together. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.

For Colorado children, both homestudied and non-homestudied Colorado families are encouraged to inquire; only homestudied families from other states should do so.

Virginia Orphans-

Virginia has over 1,000 children that need a home.  Are you that family?

A prayer from Eleanor for a girl in Foster Care named Shania:

"That someone adopts her and takes care of her and she finds a good family that loves her and knows the Lord."  Amen.

Watch this video, it is about Shania at the zoo.  And she is very anxious to find a good family.
Meet Shania – an energetic Caucasian young girl who is very anxious to find a family. She is described as a loving child who is polite and enjoys being helpful. She is in middle school and receives special education services to address issues related to emotional delays and a speech barrier. Shania currently lives in a facility, and within the past year, she has progressed “by leaps and bounds”. Shania has difficulty with changes in routine; changes must be processed with her thoroughly to prevent any upsets. The good news is that she has shown the ability to thrive with structure and consistency. Shania will benefit from being the youngest child in a safe and stable home environment with a loving family to guide her into positive directions. What she needs most of all is a forever family that will accept her for who she is and welcome her unconditionally into their home and hearts. Can you be that forever family?

The Dream

My name is Eleanor.  I am 7 years old.  I am writing this blog because I learned about Orphans and I want to help them by giving them clean water so every 3 seconds a child wont die because it doesn't have clean water or good food. I hope you learn about orphans and join me in doing something about the 175 million orphans in our world.
